Check how the amount is formed
Three service units at INR 650 give INR 1,950; two supplied items at INR 175 give INR 350. The subtotal is INR 2,300. The example makes no tax-rate or exemption assumption.
Edit without losing the calculation or layout
- Work in the Blank sheet; keep Example as a reference.
- Enter quantities and rates in the yellow cells. Do not replace the green line formulas.
- Use the ten marked entry rows and verify the total after each edit.
- Check print preview and save a separate issued copy.
Save and print your invoice
Keep the XLSX for future edits and save a separate copy of each issued invoice. Check the invoice area in print preview before printing or saving as PDF. The supplied PDFs are fixed blank and worked examples; editing the XLSX does not update them.
Common questions
Can I add more than ten item rows?
The supplied formulas cover the ten marked rows. Extra rows need their formulas, total range and print area checked; they are not included automatically.
Does the file choose GST rates?
No. The simple example does not determine tax applicability. Use the separate reviewed GST invoice format for that document’s fields.
Can this keep my invoice history?
No. Keep your own issued copies and reference register. A downloaded file is not a transaction ledger.
