How to create your fuel & petrol bill
Create a fuel receipt with station details, date, vehicle number, fuel rate and quantity. Compare receipt templates and download your completed bill as a PDF.
Fields to fill in
- Station and vehicle
- Enter the station name and address, vehicle registration and any customer, nozzle or pump identifiers shown on your fuel record.
- Purchase details
- Set the receipt number, date, time, fuel type and payment method. Replace any sample transaction references.
- Quantity and amount
- For petrol or diesel, enter the price per litre and litres purchased. EV formats instead have energy in kWh and charging fees.
- Format options
- Use the selected layout’s currency, tax, logo and closing-message controls. Check the total against the amount paid.
Create and download in three steps
- Fill your chosen format. Choose a pump receipt for petrol or diesel, or an EV charging format for energy in kWh and session fees. Enter the station, date and transaction details offered by your layout, then check the quantity, rate and total.
- Check the preview. Check the quantity, unit price, currency and total together. A fuel receipt records a purchase; choosing a station logo does not verify that purchase.
- Save the PDF. Review the required confirmations, choose an available paper size and download. Single bill PDFs include a small HOF reference code near the bottom edge.

Read a petrol or diesel bill before filling it
A fuel receipt records one purchase. Match the station, product and purchase time to your own record before entering the figures.
- Station and purchase
- Use the station name and address, receipt number, transaction date and time from the purchase.
- Fuel and vehicle
- Select the actual petrol or diesel product. Enter the vehicle registration, pump or nozzle details only where your chosen template includes them.
- Quantity, rate and amount
- For example, 20.00 litres at INR 96.25 per litre gives INR 1,925.00. Check the quantity and rate against the amount paid; a currency conversion is not part of this calculation.
- Density
- Copy the measured value and its printed unit when available. Density is a separate observation, not the price or number of litres.
Use the template that matches the fields you have. For a missing original payment record, request the receipt from the fuel station.
