How to create your gst invoice

Build an itemized invoice with business, customer, GST and payment details. Select a layout, review tax calculations and download your GST invoice as a PDF.

Fields to fill in

Supplier and customer
Enter both business names, addresses and GSTINs, including the correct city, state and country.
Invoice references
Set the invoice heading, number, invoice date, due date, currency and place of supply.
Items and tax
Add each description, HSN code, quantity and rate. Fill the CGST, SGST, IGST and cess fields that apply to your transaction.
Notes and terms
Edit the notes and terms labels and text, and add a logo if needed. A PDF download does not register an e-invoice or generate an IRN.

Create and download in three steps

  1. Fill your chosen format. The three GST invoice formats share the same core fields. Choose a layout, then enter supplier and customer details, invoice number and dates, item quantities and prices, and the applicable tax entries. Review notes and terms before downloading.
  2. Check the preview. Verify the GST identifiers, place-of-supply information and applicable rates against your records. Downloading a PDF does not submit an invoice to a government portal.
  3. Save the PDF. Review the required confirmations, choose an available paper size and download. Single bill PDFs include a small HOF reference code near the bottom edge.
