Fictional example. Use the figures only to follow the document and calculation.
What to fill in
| Field | What to enter | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Year and month | Enter a numeric calendar year and month in the workbook. Invalid days are omitted by the date formulas. | 2026 / 9 |
| Daily quantities | Record morning and evening litres separately. | 0.5 L morning and 0.5 L evening |
| Skip | Choose Yes for an intentionally skipped day; the amount formula ignores that day. | Sundays skipped in the example |
| Rate and balance | Enter the agreed daily rate and actual opening balance/payments. | INR 60/L, then INR 62/L after the 15th |
Keep a daily record behind the monthly bill
Record the litres actually delivered and the agreed rate for each date. Use Skip for a deliberate non-delivery, and enter extra quantities on the affected day. This customer bill does not calculate farmer payments from fat, SNF or milk-quality results.
Read the September example
The example skips four Sundays, records an extra half-litre on the 15th, and changes the rate after the 15th. Milk charges are INR 1,616.00. Adding INR 200 opening balance and deducting an INR 1,000 payment gives INR 816.00 due.
Use the calendar and inputs
- Enter the year and month on the Blank sheet.
- Enter only the actual morning/evening litres and daily rate for valid displayed dates.
- Use the Skip field for a deliberate non-delivery.
- Check the displayed daily amounts, opening balance and payment before printing.
Use the calendar workbook or manual form
The Excel Blank sheet accepts years from 1901 to 2100 and months from 1 to 12. Keep its date and amount formulas intact. Word dates and amounts must be edited manually. The fixed PDF uses two pages for the month; keep the continuation page with the summary.
Common questions
Does the sheet support February and leap years?
Yes. Its date formulas show the valid dates for the selected month. Rows beyond the month’s last day have blank dates and no calculated charge, even if a quantity was entered there.
Does it keep all customer history?
No. Save a separate copy for each customer and month. Reconcile carried balances with your own records; there is no customer database.
