How to create your restaurant bill

Build an itemized restaurant receipt with food items, quantities, prices and tax. Choose a template, check the live preview and download a free PDF.

Fields to fill in

Restaurant and order
Fill the restaurant name, address, bill number, date and time. Table, token, cashier and order-type fields depend on the format.
Food items
Add each dish or combo with its quantity and price. Use the item discount fields where the selected invoice provides them.
Tax and payment
Enter the applicable tax, service charge, currency and payment details from the transaction. Keep discounts separate from charges.
Delivery invoices
Zomato and Swiggy formats add customer delivery addresses, order IDs and restaurant registration details. Zomato also has a platform-fee page.

Create and download in three steps

  1. Fill your chosen format. Choose a counter receipt for an itemized meal, or a delivery invoice with customer address and order references. Enter the restaurant, date and items, then the tax, discount and service-charge fields supported by that format.
  2. Check the preview. Review quantities and prices line by line, then check discounts, service charges and the final amount. Long menus can extend the receipt beyond its first page.
  3. Save the PDF. Review the required confirmations, choose an available paper size and download. Single bill PDFs include a small HOF reference code near the bottom edge.
